North Wharf Gardens presents a unique opportunity to create a new pocket park in an urban quarter of Paddington, encapsulating a unique set of culture-led, place making ideas which will contribute to Westminster’s cultural identity.
SCOPE OF ROOFING WORKS
We have built the roofing systems
from the concrete slab up to include
waterproofing, insulation, stones and
paving to allow for services to be
maintained. We have also installed all Fall
Protection Systems and Window Cleaning
Strategy and Equipment.
Roofs & Terraces
Generation 2 hot melt system with
reinforcement fleece and felt protection,
XPS extruded insulation and British
Standard paving on adjustable supports.
Balconies
Cold applied waterproofing system
reinforced with fleece and extruded XPS
insulation used.
Mansafe System
Fixed line and anchor system to the roofs
and Davit Arms with Inspection chambers
for the Cleaning Strategy.
SCOPE OF GROUNDWORKS
In this projects we installed the
aggregate substrate and weed protection
layers throughout as well as finishes
including Drainage Channels, Edging,
Granite Paving Sets & Kerbs and a Resin
Bound Finish installed in front of the
entrances to the towers.
Granite Paving
The Paving is laid on compacted 2-6mm
limestone aggregate and finished with
brushed in anthracite grout bordered by
matching granite kerbs. Matching granite
steps and borders as per client details.
Resin Bound
This is laid on a 100mm dense layer of
tarmac and split through colour matched
movement joints.
